Catholic Theological Union, Chicago, accepting applications for Hesburgh Sabbatical Program until July 15

Catholic Theological Union in Chicago is accepting applications for its popular Hesburgh Sabbatical Program through July 15. The program developed for ministers in the Catholic Church begins Sept. 1 and runs through Dec. 16.

The program attracts men and women from around the world, as they come together to study, rest and share their experiences about ministry. With more than 2,500 alumni, the Hesburgh Sabbatical Program has provided renewal for clergy, religious, and lay ministers for more than 30 years.

Presenters for the 2022 session include Fr. Don Senior, Fr. Tony Gittens, Barbara Reid, OP, Dr. Steve Milles, and other distinguished experts. See the full schedule of presenters here.

Tuition for the program includes all learning modules, as well as room and board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and any required classroom or program supplies. Catholic Theological Union is located in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, a culturally diverse lakefront setting that is home to five post-graduate schools of theology and the University of Chicago.
