Motorcycle Group
Join the Chicago Region BMW Club on an overnight, weekend ride on a tour of shrines and sights around Legendary Notre Dame University on April 21, 2021, and the remarkable Shrine of Christ’s Passion in St. John, IN.
The group will begin the trip at Cracker Barrel in Hammond, IN for breakfast at 9 a.m. They will then ride through Indiana Dunes State Park on Route 12 then turn east through Southern Michigan. They then head south into South Bend. They will take in the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (where they will have the option of taking in Mass at 5 p.m.), the Golden Dome, Knute Rockne Memorial and the Word of Life Mural (Touchdown Jesus).
They will spend the night at The Inn at St. Mary’s and have dinner in the area.
After breakfast Sunday Morning, they will ride along Rt. 2 finishing up in St. John, IN. They will tour The Shrine of Christ’s Passion (https://shrineofchristspassion.org/) and St. John the Evangelist Church (https://www.stjohnparish.org/). They will grab dinner in St. John before heading back to Chicago.
The only fees for this trip will be your lodging, which you will make on your own by contacting the Inn at St. Mary’s (https://www.innatsaintmarys.com/) or other lodging choices if you wish.
