The Serra Club of DuPage, an organization that supports vocations to the priesthood and religious life, invites you to join them for Mass and Dinner at St. Michael Parish in Wheaton on May 20. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with rosary and Mass in the church. Dinner will follow in the Parish Center.
The guest speaker will be Chris Gomez, who, with three other business leaders, opened Spirit Consulting, and is a co-founder of Spirit Hockey Camp, which hosts religious retreats structured as Catholic Hockey Camps that assist children in deepening their relationships with Christ. He is also a board member with Catholic Sports Camps, which are faith-filled experiences where leaders are built, sports are played, and faith is strengthened during the summer.
Chris also chairs Band of Brothers, a support group for men at St. Isaac Jogues, and is lead guitarist for a praise-and-worship band for the Tenth Hour Initiative, which is a young adult community that seeks Truth, beauty and goodness and a renewal of the Holy Spirit in the Diocese of Joliet.
