The Vatican Releases Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation to Young People

Christus vivit, (Christ is alive) was released on April 2, the anniversary of the death of Pope Saint John Paul II. It is Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation following the Synod of Bishops on Young People, Faith, and Vocational Discernment, which took place Oct. 3-28, 2018. Many young people attended the Synod, including delegates from the United States. The document was signed March 25, the Solemnity of the Annunciation, in the Holy House of Mary in Loreto, Italy.
