Bishop Conlon and a Lay Couple from the Diocese of Joliet Receive Awards from Mundelein Seminary

At the 26th celebration of Mundelein Seminary last week, Bishop R. Daniel Conlon, left, was honored with the
As Those Who Serve Award.  Meanwhile, Ron and Diane Ziemba, who live in the Diocese of Joliet, were honored with the Christo Gloria award, in recognition for their years of work supporting vocations to the priesthood through their work as vocations committee co-chairs for the Illinois state council of the Knights of Columbus. The proceeds from this event benefit transformative programs, such as the Holy Land Study Pilgrimage made each year by third-year seminarians, the Teaching Parish Program immersive pastoral experience, and other vital needs of Mundelein Seminary.
