The Diocese of Joliet is hosting a “Run Alpha” training at the Blanchette Catholic Center, 16555 Weber Road in Crest Hill, on Saturday, Jan. 12, from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Alpha is a methodology for evangelization that has been used successfully in parishes and congregations in 170 countries around the world. This training will include Alpha “best practices” and an overview of the key components of the 11-week process. The training will be provided by members of the national Alpha-in-a-Catholic-context team, as well as regional Alpha staff directors.
