In advance of his feast day on Oct. 22, St. John Paul II Parish in Kankakee will host a Novena to St. John Paul II. 
Prayers will be broadcast on Facebook daily beginning at 7 p.m. on October 13, and each day thereafter until the feast day.
An anticipated bilingual Mass for St. John Paul II will be held outdoors at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21, at the West Campus (956 S 10th Ave., Kankakee.) This Mass will be live streamed on Facebook and YouTube.
