The Newman Singers Are Coming To Immaculate Conception Parish on Sept. 29-30

This dynamic group of young adults, under the direction of Joe Mattingly, will provide contemporary music for all weekend Masses at Immaculate Conception Parish, in Elmhurst, on September 29 & 30.  In addition, the Newman Singers will give a concert on Sunday, September 30, at 2:30 p.m.  All Masses, as well as the concert, will be held in the Sacred Heart Chapel.  Mass times are 5:15 p.m. on Saturday and 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 5:15 p.m. on Sunday.

The Newman Singers, a liturgical & concert group from the Newman Catholic Student Center in Iowa City, Iowa, have toured the country for the past fifteen years, building a reputation for leadership in contemporary liturgical & inspirational music. Their mission is to spread the gospel of Christ in a manner musically & spiritually uplifting.

The Newman Singers have led congregations and audiences across the country in worship, inspired them in concert, and enriched the faith life of all they have ministered to with their music.
