Registration is still open for Mike Sweeney’s Catholic Baseball Camp. The dates of camp are Monday, July 23, through Wednesday, July 25. The camp is for boys and girls 8-14 years of age and will take place at Benet Academy in Lisle.
Catholic Family Night — where all the camp attendees and their families and non-campers are invited to attend a Mass and talks/fellowship after the Mass — will take place on July 22. The Mass will begin at 5 p.m. in the gymnasium. Father Mark Bernhard will celebrate. Father Burke Masters, the diocesan vocations director, will speak after Mass. This will be an evening full of great talks, Mass, praise & worship, pizza dinner and fellowship. Bring your whole family. There is no cost for this event, and no tickets are required.
The Fishers of Men of Joliet, the Vocation Office of the Diocese of Joliet and the Mike and Shara Sweeney Family Foundation are hosting the baseball camp.
