Various Irish-Related Events Around the Diocese in March

Join St. Patrick’s Parish in Joliet for their annual Irish Mass and corned beef dinner on March 3 from 4-8 p.m. They will be serving a traditional corned beef dinner for $13 and an Irish Lamb Stew for $15 (both served with Irish soda bread and dessert). Corned beef sandwiches (with potato salad or chips and dessert) costs $10, and there will be pasta and dessert for the kids for $5. Families can buy a dinner for four for $20. Beverages will be served a la carte. St. Joseph Parish, in Manhattan, will hold its Irish Mass at March 17 at its regular 4:30 p.m. Mass. The Village of Manhattan will sponsor Irish Fest on March 2-3, and their arts and crafts fair will be held at St. Joseph School.
