Bishop R. Daniel Conlon released the following statement:
Today, I ask that the faithful of the Diocese of Joliet join me in prayer for all those affected by the horrible tragedy that took place yesterday in Parkland, Florida. We hope that by God’s grace healing will come for those who suffer in the aftermath,and eternal life will be given to those who were killed. May the Lord grant all of us a deeper respect for the dignity of human life.
