St. Mary Nativity School Announces Religious Freedom Essay Winners

 

The eight graders of St. Mary Nativity Catholic School participated in the annual Knights of Columbus Rev. Gordon Michel Council’s essay contest. The topic they had to write about was  the importance of religious freedom. Winners of the contest were announced after the school Mass on Jan. 31. The first place winner and recipient of $100 was Megan Krok. Hailey Mascote was the second place winner, and Alexa Pucel was third place. Megan’s essay will go on to be judged at the Knights of Columbus’ district level.
