A Docu-Drama to Show at St. Francis of Assisi, Orland Park, on the Importance of Fathers on Nov. 9

A DOCUMENTARY THAT JUST MIGHT CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Special showing on Nov. 9  at 7 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, Upton Hall, 15050 S. Wolf Rd., Orland Park.

This powerful 60-minute docu-drama was produced by John Finch as part of his mission to educate, encourage and equip men to become the fathers they were created to be, and to help men walk in daily awareness of their significant and lifelong influence as fathers.  Through the movie John shares stories and messages that will move viewers to a new awareness about the everlasting impact of fathers and the importance of forgiveness and openness in the relationship of this world.

The first half of the film explores the different challenges fatherless boys face; it also touches on the effect that growing up fatherless has on girls.  Viewers of both sexes will benefit from Finch’s interviews with more than 80 people from all walks of life.  In the second half of the film Finch also tackles solutions, which he hopes will be as helpful to others as they were to him.  This film has been truly life-changing for many and for their wives.

Following the film will be a presentation by Gregory Rodrigues, MA, LCPC. Greg is a licensed clinical professional counselor with expertise in helping men and their families who are hurting and seeks to provide them with the tools necessary to have a healthier and more enjoyable marriage / family.  He has extensive men’s ministry experience within the church as well as being a founder and board member of the “Fishers of Men” Ministry.

Every father, and family should see this movie and hear the presentation.
