St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School in Joliet held their second annual Giant Steps 5K Run/Walk on Sept. 9. The event had over 100 runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels and was a great success for the school. The race started at St Paul’s and the course took runners through the neighborhoods surrounding the school. The race concluded at St. Paul’s with awards, food, music and a Bloody Mary bar.
St. Paul’s would like to thank the sponsors, participants and volunteers for their efforts in making the event a great success. The committee is excited about planning the 3rd annual event for 2018.
St Paul the Apostle Catholic School serves preschool through eighth grade students from Joliet and the surrounding communities.
