The 32nd annual Wheaton Leadership Prayer Breakfast will be held on Sept. 8, with breakfast beginning at 7 a.m. at the Abbington in Glen Ellyn, at the intersection of Route 53 and Butterfield Road. The keynote speaker is Father Burke Masters, the diocesan director of vocations and chaplain to the World Champion Chicago Cubs. Father Masters’ talk should start around 8 a.m. and last for about a half hour. The breakfast attracts a diverse group of ecumenical leaders, who are interested in hearing a Christian-based leadership message that does not dwell on theology, but on Christ. Individual tickets are $20 each; a sponsored table of 10 is $250. For more information, contact Kerry O’Brien at kerryanne22@icloud.com.
