Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus to Present “100 Years of Music at St. Raymond Parish: A Centennial Celebration of Faith in Song” on April 30

The Cathedral of Saint Raymond Nonnatus announced today the next installment in its 2016-2017 Cathedral Music Series.  The cathedral choirs will present “100 Years of Music at St. Raymond Parish – A Centennial Celebration of Faith in Song” under the direction of James Grzadzinski, director of Music, assisted by Dick Siegel, associate organist. 

The program will feature music by Caccini, Handel, Holst, Rutter, Singenberger, Proulx, French, Stopford, Grzadzinski and will commemorate 100 years of faith at St. Ray’s with this program of sacred choral music and powerful hymnody.  A free-will offering benefits the Cathedral Music Program.  The concert will be held on Sunday, April 30, at 4 p.m. at the Cathedral of Saint Raymond Nonnatus, which is located at 604 N. Raynor Avenue in Joliet.  Ample free parking is available.
