Ed Flavin, diocesan director of communications, will be the Serra Club’s next speaker on April 18 at St. Petronille in Glen Ellyn. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with the rosary and then Mass follows in the church. Fellowship and dinner will follow in the parish center.
Flavin assists with both internal and external communications, including social media, website development and overseeing Christ is our Hope monthly magazine, and is the diocesan spokesman. He and his wife, Katie, and their five children are parishioners of Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Naperville. Flavin, who earned a Master of Science degree from Northwestern University and a MBA from the University of Notre Dame, has also been the sideline producer for all home and away games with Notre Dame National Radio.
