David Plascencia and Alberto Perfecto present a check of more than $225 to the workers at Feed My Starving Children from the Helping Hands Bake Sale last month. St. Mary Nativity students packed food to feed 59 children for a year.
In other parish news, St. Mary Nativity, in Joliet, will be sponsoring a parish mission from Nov. 8-Nov. 11, starting at 7 p.m. each night. Father Greg Schmitt, C.Ss.R, from the Redemptorist Mission Team, will be the missionary this year. St. Mary Nativity Church is located at 706 N. Broadway in Joliet.
