Sister Dolores Zemont to Speak at Serra Club Meeting on Sept. 28

The Serra Club of DuPage, an organization supporting vocations to the priesthood and religious life,  invites you to  join them  on  Monday, Sept. 28,  at St  Petronille Parish, 420  Glenwood, Glen Ellyn.  The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with rosary and Mass in the church.  Dinner will follow in the parish center.

Sister Dolores Zemont, OSF,  will be the guest speaker at the dinner.  Sister Dolores was born and  raised in the in Chicago in the Pilsen area and graduated from St. Procopius High School taught by the Joliet Franciscans. She entered their congregation – after working for 14 years for the Timken Company. As a Franciscan,  Sister Dolores has served as  campus  minister at Joliet Catholic Academy and the University of St. Francis and as a pastoral associate at St Mary’s  Church and has earned three Master’s degrees: in English from the University of Illinois; in business from the University of Notre Dame; and in pastoral theology from Loyola University. Since 2012, she has served as president of her congregation, the Joliet Franciscans
