Celebrate spring and the gift of music at the Cathedral of Saint Raymond Nonnatus in Joliet on Sunday, April 26, at 4 p.m., when the 125 singers of the Cathedral Choir, Cathedral Youth Schola, Cathedral Children’s Choir, and Cathedral Choral Scholars present their 2015 All Choirs Spring Concert: JUBILATE DEO — Great Cathedral Music of the Ages. The cathedral music program has grown exponentially in the past three years under the direction of Dr. Randall Swanson, the director of music, and Claire Halbur, the associate for Children’s Choirs. All are invited to gather at the cathedral for this jubilant afternoon of music and song.
Admission is $15 for adults and complimentary for students (K through high school). All concert proceeds benefit the Cathedral Music Ministry and the Cathedral Children’s Choir in advance of their pilgrimage to sing at the Vatican in December 2015.
