The St. Jude Peace and Social Justice Ministry will host a two-day Fair Trade Fair on Saturday, Nov. 1, from noon – 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. featuring hundreds of handcrafts from artisans around the world. Through purchases of fair trade crafts, chocolate and coffee, artisans and farmers in more than 30 countries are helped out of poverty. Fair trade builds right relationships between buyers and sellers that are rooted in the principles of human dignity and solidarity. The event will be held at St Jude Franciscan Hall, 241 W Second Ave., New Lenox.
