Father Tony Taschetta, pastor at Mary Queen of Heaven Parish in Elmhurst, celebrated Masses during the weekend of June 7-8 during which he said goodbye to parishioners and talked about the memories of being a priest for 45 years as he prepares for a life of retirement. He plans to move to California to live the life of a hermit at a hermitage in Big Sur.
