Father Robert J. Hater, a priest of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and professor of pastoral and systematic theology at the Athenaeum of Ohio and professor emeritus at the University of Dayton, is speaking today at the Blanchette Catholic Center in front of a group directors/coordinators of religious education leaders and catechetical leaders from across the diocese as part of the 2014-15 Opening Catechetical Leadership Gathering, sponsored by the diocesan Religious Education Office.
Father Hater addressed the need to keep common sense and keep Christ at the center of catechesis. Evangelization is simply how — and in whom — Catholic leaders do their ministry.
